The Fannin Lady Rebels tipped off against the White County Lady Warriors Tuesday night, January 15, 2013. The game was very competitive throughout, but saw the Lady Warriors pull away in the fourth and win 46-37. The boys did not fair as well as the Warriors coasted to a 75-32 victory. (more…)

The Fannin Lady Rebels took on the Buford Lady Wolves Friday night, January 4, 2013. The Lady Wolves had the game from the tipoff, it seemed. They took this game by a score of 63-20. Fannin Finishes Tournament on a High Note

The Fannin Lady Rebels and Rebels closed the final day of the ETC Piedmont Mountainside Tip-Off Tournament with a pair of wins over the Copper Basin Lady Cougars and Cougars, leaving both of Fannin’s teams with a 2-1 record in the tournament. The Lady Rebels, despite being awarded the Runner Up Trophy early in the day, finished in a three way tie for first place.

The Fannin County High School Rebels basketball teams traveled to Banks County to take on the Leopards. The Lady Rebels were victorious, in a curiously called contest, where the referees ruffled the feathers of both fan bases. The Lady Rebels escaped with a 70-62 win, despite only hitting one fourth quarter field goal. The male Rebels were rebelliously trying to avenge and earlier defeat; however Fannin fell 69-52. (more…)
