Mintz Makes Move to McConnell

Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball player, Amy Mintz, has signed a scholarship with Truett-McConnell. The Lady Rebel will join the Lady Bears coached by Jenni Shephard. The Lady Bears could use a player of Mintz’s caliber, as the Truett-McConnell finished the 2014 with an 11-36 record overall an a 3-17 AAC conference record.
Armstrong’s Strong Arm Leads Charge for Chargers

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels recently celebrated yet another scholarship signing, with more to come. Pitcher, Jace Armstrong, has committed to play next year for the Chargers of Ga. Highlands. Armstrong pitched 276 total innings for the Lady Rebels with a career ERA of 2.36. She finished her Lady Rebels career number two on the all-time wins list. (more…)
Fannin Celebrates Senior Night Following Loss to East Hall

An emotional night for Fannin’s seniors did not go as planned, but the team played with a lot of heart as Fannin fell to East Hall 8-7. The game saw lead changes and ties all the way until the end. Just when it looked like the Lady Rebels had it locked up, the Lady Vikings fought back late to take the game. Following the game, the festivities for senior night occurred. Josie Milsaps, Mallory Deal, Jace Armstrong, Amy Mintz and Jordan Deal were recognized. (more…)

The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball team, fresh off a 2-2 tournament performance at Lanier Point Park, traveled to Union to take on the Lady Panthers, looking to avenge 3-2 lost to Union in the first Fannin game of the season; however, the Lady Panthers pounced ferociously on Fannin with a 7-1 victory. Lady Rebels State Tournament Game Rescheduled
Announcements October 19, 2011Due to copious amounts of rain in Blue Ridge, the Fannin County Lady Rebels softball second round state tournament double header scheduled for Wednesday October 19th at 5:00pm has been rescheduled for Thursday October 20th at the same time. The Lady Rebels encourage all fans to wear blue for a Rebels “Blue Out” during the games.
