Jasper Earl Thomas, age 79 of Copperhill, TN passed away on Monday, September 9, 2019 in Gordon Hospital in Calhoun, GA. He was born on January 25, 1940 in McCaysville, GA to the late Earl Jasper Thomas and Willie Ruth Passmore Thomas. Mr. Thomas was a painter. He was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. Mr. Thomas was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Gina Bradshaw.

Survivors are daughters, Shauna Adams (Lee), Pam Satterfield (Eric) and Audrey Bradshaw (Lynn); grandchildren, Jennifer Henry, Jessica Thomason, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams and David Bradshaw; thirteen great-grandchildren; brother, Gary Thomas and sister, Teresa Lowe also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Adams, Wesley Adams, Kyle Adams, David Henry, Dawson Henry and Eric Satterfield. The visitation will be on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 after 1:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill is in charge of the arrangements.
