Shelby Dotson Franklin, age 82, of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2019 at the Pruitt Health Care in Blue Ridge. She was a homemaker and a member of the Lebanon Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents James Jahu and Ethel Louvetia Stewart Franklin; and a son Mark Waters.

She is survived by her daughters Vickie Waters Talbert of Copperhill, TN and Ethel Waters of Brentwood, TN; son Jeffrey (Beverly) Lee Waters of Tumbling Creek; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren also survive.

A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Lebanon Church Cemetery in Epworth, GA with the Rev. David O’Neal officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Gary Franklin, Chance Waters, Jeffen Waters, Caleb Franklin, Jathan Beaber and Jay Hobs.
