Lester Clarence Hardeman Jr.: Obituary

Lester Hardeman Jr., age 86 of Blue Ridge, passed away July 29, 2019, at home surrounded by loved ones. Lester was born May 6, 1933, in Atlanta, GA to the late Lester C. Hardeman Sr. and Clyde Jeanette Hardeman. He was a US Navy Veteran and had retired from the IRS. Lester was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Blue Ridge and a member of the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Tommy Hardeman; sister, Joann Holtzclaw; son, Michel Bruce Hardeman; and grandson, Michel Bruce Hardeman Jr.

Survivors include wife, Wiebua Hardeman; brother, David (Honelette) Hardeman; sister, Gayle (Allen) Sanders; daughter, Leslie (Rodney) Perenich; sons, Geoffrey Hardeman and Larry (Kelly) Hardeman; three nephews, three nieces; several grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service Wednesday, July 31, 2019, at 2:00 pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Dr. Roger Beck officiating. Interment will be at Georgia National Cemetery August 7, 2019. Pallbearers: Brian Hardeman, Matthew Hardeman, Bradley Hardeman, Geoffrey Hardeman, Jeffery Hardeman, Danny Sanders, and Neal Perenich.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 31, 2019, from 11:00 am till 2:00 pm at the Henry Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Ga.
