Kathy Marie Collett, age 61, of Epworth, passed away on Sunday, September 15, 2019 in Jasper, GA. She was born on September 13, 1958, in Copperhill, TN, to the late Hobert Lee Chastain and Willa Dean Willamson Chastain. She was a member of Colwell Baptist Church. She worked in Assembly for MGM Brake.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Collett; brother and sister-in-law, Rickey and Sandy Chastain; and many other family members also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 12:00 PM from the Chapel of Akins Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. Music will be provided by Nancy Watkins, Brenda Millsaps, and Joel Collis. Interment will follow in the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery with Tommy Payne, Bob Callihan, Ed Hawkins, Morris Callihan, Rick Callihan, and Norman Kaye serving as pallbearers.
