The staff at Blue Ridge Elementary School held an ice cream part for their star students from the month of October.The trait of the month was responsibility. Teachers noted students that demonstrated this character trait exceptionally well and selected them as the Star Students. As a bonus of receiving this honor, students and their families gathered for an ice cream social.

After enjoying a helping of ice cream with their favorite toppings, students were presented with a certificate of achievement and a gift basket of goodies including coupons, candy, pencils and more.

Kindergarten student, Sydney German proudly displays her reward and treats she received for being October’s student of the month. Sydney is the daughter of Mike and Melissa German.

Sydney German (Kindergarten), Damian Hilton (Kindergarten), Emma Holloway (1st Grade), Brandon Marshall (2nd Grade), Caylee Gaddis (1st Grade), Katherine Tamberino (2nd Grade), Blake Colley (2nd Grade), Kinley Long (3rd Grade), Konner Brown (3rd Grade), Jonathon Hill (4th Grade, Tia Campbell (4th Grade), Andrew Harris (5th Grade), Courtney Tamberino (5th Grade).
