Congratulations to Nathaniel Garrison for being Team FYN’s player of the week for the week of November 11. The athlete is a post at Fannin County High School who has played Rebel basketball for the past four years. The senior had great performances on the court that week as Fannin took on Coahulla Creek and Pickens County.

Garrison not only excels on the court, but also in the classroom. The senior was recognized for his academic excellence when he was inducted into the National Honors Society his sophomore year and into the National Technical Honors Society his junior year.

As far as athletic awards go, Garrison was awarded with the Junior Varsity Most Improved award his sophomore year. The next year, he was recognized for having the best field goal percentage for the varsity basketball team. The seniors plans after graduation are to attend the University of North Georgia.
