Joyce Eunice Collins

December 1, 1931 – January 31, 2019

Joyce Eunice Collins, age 87 of Morganton, GA, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Fannin Regional Hospital. Mrs. Collins was born December 1, 1931, in McCaysville, GA to the late John Cameron Anthony and the late Hazel Standridge Anthony. Mrs. Collins was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church and gospel singings. She was an excellent cook and had a green thumb that could make anything grow. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Eston Garfield Collins.

Survivors include: son, Steve Anthony (Cindy) Collins; daughter, Rhonda Collins; grandchildren, Clint (Holly) Davenport, Caleb (Tanna) Barnes, Austin Collins, and Anborah Collins; great-grandchildren, Clay Davenport, Darian Davenport, Graylen Davenport, Meleah Davenport, Addelyn Barnes, and Trevor Barnes; great-great-grandchild, Eston Davenport.

Funeral services: Sunday, February 3, 2019, at 3:00 pm at the Toccoa Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Ritter officiating. Interment will follow in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Austin Collins, Clay Davenport, Graylen Davenport, Clint Davenport, Trevor Barnes, and Caleb Barnes. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.

The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Saturday, February 2, 2019, 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
