Robert Lee King

November 23, 1936 – October 25, 2018

Robert Lee King, Sr. age 81 of Ducktown, TN passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. Robert was born in Oneida, TN to the late Kermit Edmond and Christine Vincent King. He was a member of the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, a Past Master of Ducktown Lodge #241 F & AM and a member of the Alhambra Shrine in Chattanooga, TN. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving as a paratrooper. He was a retired Manager from the McClean Trucking Company. Mr. King is also preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Yvonne Swain King; a daughter Wendy Yvonne King Ballew; siblings, J.D. King, Kathy King Cline, and Raymond A. King.

He is survived by children, Bobby (Kaye) King of Franklin, NC, James Michael King of IA, Timothy Randall (Heather) King of South Lake, TX; sisters and one brother-in-law, Sue (Adolph) Jett of North Augusta, SC, Lana Turner and Reva Smith, both of Lafollette, TN; grandchildren, Nichole McCollum, Robert Lee King III, Evan Blake King, Roger Kent, James Michael King, Jr., Jennifer Michelle Smith, Joshua Matthew King, Randy King, Trevor King, Miranda King, Trey King, Kayla Mihalcik, Holly Ballew and Courtney Ballew; great-grandchildren, Macy, Cooper, Molly, Bo, Korey, Savannah, Jackson, Colton, Morgan and Mason; son-in-law, Eric Ballew of Ellijay, GA; and one sister-in-law, Annette King of Mineral Bluff, GA; .

Graveside services were conducted on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. from the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Luke Hall officiating. Memorial contributions in memory of Mr. King may be made in his honor to the Alahambra Shriner Club at www.alhambrashriners.com.
