With technology advances, often times, people don’t understand the changes that are taking place and how to adapt to them. That’s where Fannin County Library comes in.Free computer classes are being offered at the library at 4:30 pm each Thursday afternoon. The class is a progressive class. It started out, two weeks ago, with naming the basic parts of the computer like “monitor, keyboard, mouse, etc. It will slowly advance to using the powerful device for slideshows, social networking, basic internet searches and more. If you are interested in the course, you may contact Claire Barton, Fannin County Librarian at 706-632-5263. If you have your own laptop, you are recommended to bring it so that you can learn how to use your device instead of the devices at the library.
FYN will follow the great things that are taught at this course throughout its lifetime.
