Onia Faye Reece, age 62 passed away on Sunday, July 21, 2019 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin in Ducktown, TN. She was born on November 24, 1956 in Copperhill, TN to the late Onie Joe Towl and Alice Algabee Allen Towl. Onia worked at Whitewater Manufacturing as a seamstress and had been employed at several restaurants. She was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Onia was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Reece.

Survivors are her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Rev. Ed O’Neal of Blue Ridge, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Jackie Towl of Copperhill, TN and Danny and Marie Towl of Tuscaloosa, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill Chapel with Rev. Ed O’Neal and Rev. Lamarr O’Neal officiating. Music will be by the O’Neal Family. Interment will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddie O’Neal, Terry O’Neal, Joey O’Neal, Noah O’Neal, Isaac O’Neal, Hunter O’Neal, Micah O’Neal and Colton Cole. Honorary Pallbearers will be Kevin O’Neal and Vick Gibson. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour of 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome. Com.
