Fannin fired right back. On the first play of the drive, Peyton Satterfield raced 71 yards down the East Hall 29 yard line. Satterfield’s shake move on the Vikings defender was an “ankle breaking” not seen outside of loan shark mobster movies. Henry scored two plays later on a 30 yard scamper. The game was tied 7-7 with 6:49 left in the first quarter.

The Vikings’ offense continued to shoot itself in the foot, as a long run by Witt, that would have giving East Hall first and goal on the one yard line, was wiped out due to a block in the back well behind the ball. The Vikings moved the ball down to the Rebels’ three yard line; however, a Peyton Satterfield interception on fourth and goal ended the scoring threat. Satterfield returned the pick to the Rebels’ 35 yard line.

The Rebels continued to run the ball down the throat of the Vikings’ eventually scoring on the first play of the third quarter, with a Blake Henry run. Both Henry and Satterfield (Peyton) had acquired over 100 yards before the start of the fourth quarter.
