Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for August. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for August are: Olivia Sisson (Team 8A), daughter of Jason & Tammy Sisson of Blue Ridge; Jordan Ensley (Team 8A), son of Rodney & Pam Ensley of Epworth; Taylor Cobb (Team 8B), daughter of Michael & Heather Cobb of Morganton; and Samuel Dillard (Team 8B), son of Michael & Janet Dillard of Blue Ridge.
