Opinion by George McClellan:
I heard a radio news report today that said ”Hillary has agreed to hand over her server”. Isn’t that wonderful? Sure, I’ll bet she has!. What the report didn’t say was that it was the FBI standing at her door with a court ordered search warrant in hand. She didn’t “agree”, she had to. Problem is, she knew it would turn ugly going in and that’s why she dumped 30,000 e-mails from the thing. I’ll bet there is absolutely nothing left on her server that is in the slightest bit incriminating. Oh, where’s General Petraeus when we need him?
We have an etiquette protocol problem here as well. The Secret Service, an arm of the Treasury Department and seconded into the Dept. of Homeland Security, have their duty to perform and it’s to protect the President of the United States. Hillary isn’t that, but she is a Presidential candidate entitled to protection, and a former First Lady, who also gets protection. I don’t see the SS easily acquiescing to the FBI at the common street level. Here, we enter the field of high politics. Still, there is the problem of finding Classified data on emails already sent. Ouch!
I have no doubt the FBI has a proper search warrant signed by a Federal Judge. I am also as certain that the SS will recognize the FBI’s right to seize Hillary’s ‘server’ provided that warrant was issued based upon probable cause, supported by oath or affirmation, particularly describing the place to be searched and the person or things to be seized. I have no doubt all that has already been provided for.
Hillary’s main problem now lies is her unfortunate personality. She’s beyond arrogant. The old adage holds true: “Be careful of the toes you step on going up the ladder, you just might have to kiss them coming down.” For too many years, Lady Hillary has behaved like a regal queen. Reportedly, she has as foul a mouth, probably worse, than President Nixon purportedly had. She curses her SS protection team, demands of them tasks that don’t fit into their job description, and otherwise uses them cruelly. That kind of stuff is not forgotten and never forgiven. It is rumored that if an agent of the Secret Service screws up, he is in danger of being assigned to Hillary’s close protection detail. It used to be the agent could anticipate a posting to outer Montana. That would be a welcomed vacation today. Assignment to Hillary’s team would be cause for resignation or suicide.
Actually, the DOJ, a corrupted creature of the Obama administration, is between a rock and a hard spot. The gorilla in the room is the Federal Judiciary, individually, not all completely corrupted by Obama like the Supreme Court has apparently become. So, we arrive at an impasse. How will it turn out, one wonders. I see the destructive hand of Obama, behind the scenes, happily wielding that famous knife of a thousand cuts.
This aging, geriactic woman, and her teflon coated husband, are protected by layers upon layers of insulating fat. It may take years to scrape it off to reveal the rot beneath. In the meantime, if she should actually succeed becoming President, before she should become prisoner, she and her minion’s, would destroy all before them to defray, delay, obfuscate, lie, cheat and steal to prevent her impeachment.
Acolytes of her version of the new socialist Democrat party, will battle the wicked process’s of justice vainly attempting to stem the inevitable, the wheels of justice crushing her years of reckless adventurism, self-glorification and self enrichment. “The mills of the gods grind slowly and they grind woe”. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (12 August 2015)
