Daily Prayer: 08/13

“So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, have the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.” Philippians 2:1-3.

Holy Spirit of God, only you can create in the human heart the kind of love that leads believers to be of the same mind. To come to the same conclusions when personalities are so different is a divine miracle.

Thank you for the encouragement you bring to our souls. It is so easy to get discouraged when we face such a powerful force of evil in the world. But you bring to mind a scripture verse that is just right for the situation and we are made bold. The Bible reminds us, “greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world.” Thank you, Holy Spirit of Christ, for the development of spiritual power in your people.

We pray for a fresh anointing upon the church today. We need to see a revival like the country has not known in over a century. In these days, which may be the lasts, prepare the people of God for the second coming of Christ, our Lord.
