The Fannin USA wrestlers competed in one of six state qualifiers this weekend to determine the top four wrestlers at each site who will advance to the state tournament. The top 24 wrestlers in each age group and weight class will compete for the state title March 9 at Pickens County High School. Carson Callihan won the 6 and under 45 pound weight class.Carson Callihan, Benjamin Bloch, Harrison Brown, Malachy Johnston, Taylor Collis, Carson Collis all advanced to the State Tournament.

Also qualifying for state in the 12 and 14 divisions: Landon Galloway; Cameron Pigott; Adrian Mendoza; Barrett Webb; Coach Zach Padgett; Dawson King; Brad Davis; and Parker Brown.
