Rebels Summer Baseball Update

Featured Stories

The Fannin County High School Rebels baseball team has been taking part in summer baseball games. The Rebels most recent trip was to Lumpkin County, where Fannin faced the host school, Indians and North Forsyth. Fannin beat Lumpkin County 4-1; however, North Forsyth won 12-3. The Rebels use summer baseball to develop talent for the upcoming year as well as leadership and team chemistry.

Head coach, David Dyer, said,

“My main thing is I need to five my five to six varsity pitchers for next year; and then after that, with a group of seniors that graduated you’re just looking for another group of kids to come in and take some leadership roles, and build a little team chemistry. (That’s) what I think summer is about.”
