The 5th annual Taste of Blue Ridge was held Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 5 PM to 8 PM at Hi Country Events in Blue Ridge, Georgia. This annual event is sponsored by the Humane Society of Blue Ridge and this year’s event was wonderful. The evening was filled with fine dining with over 30 restaurants represented and beer and wine vendors. Live entertainment was provided by the Buckner Band and there were wonderful items in the silent and live auctions.
The best part of all of this wonderful entertainment is knowing that it is all going to help the Humane Society of Blue Ridge. The wonderful shelter had plans on hand so everyone could see the future structure for its new facility. The attendance was wonderful and varied reports speculated that approximately 550 tickets were sold for the event.
