Rodney “Dale” Keys : Obituary

Mr. Rodney “Dale” Keys, age 56, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012 at his home.Mr. Keys was born on November 4, 1955 in Savannah, GA. He worked for Disco, Inc. for 25 years in food distribution warehouse management. Mr. Keys loved to hunt and fish, and was known to be a great basketball player during high school.

He is survived by his wife Gale Campbell Keys of the home who he married on September 30, 1995; a son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jessica Groce of Dandridge, TN; daughters, Aly Keys of Summerville, GA and Ashley Canales of Homewood, AL; parents, Donald and Flora Keys of Epworth, GA; mother and father-in-law, Robert and Tanya Campbell of McDonough, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins of Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Travis Davenport officiating. Music will be by Donald Keys and Dale Jacobs. Pallbearers will be Robert Campbell, Kevin Groce, David Jacobs, Cory Campbell, Roger Streetman, and Matt Streetman. Interment will follow in Chastain Memorial Park.
