• FCHS 2014 Wrestling Banquet

    The Fannin County High School Rebels wrestling team held its annual banquet to honor seniors and superlatives. The middle school and youth wrestling programs were honored and in attendance as well. The 2013-14 team had two seniors, Blake Carroll and Matthew Seabolt, who were also both named captains of the team.

    The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels and Rebels tennis teams have taken some lumps in the young 2014 season, as neither team has been able to secure its first win. Both teams most recent loss was to West Hall. The Ladies fell 0-5, while the Rebels fell 2-3.

    The Fannin High School Rebels baseball team has started the 2014 baseball season off with three wins in four games, with the lone loss coming on the road to the Panthers of Union County. The Rebels have posted wins over Towns County, Gilmer, and most recently a monstrous mangling of Murray, 14-1.
