The Fannin County Lady Rebels softball team traveled north to Union County High School to face off with the Panthers and the Indians of Towns County. The Rebels went 0-2 on the day, falling 2-0 to the hosting Panthers and 6-3 to the Indians.

The Fannin County Recreation Department is now registering for: Summer Day Camp; Basketball Camp; Soccer Camp; Football Camp; and Football Cheerleading Camp. Football Camp registration is free. The FC Rec Department also now offers Dance Fitness Classes on Mondays and Tuesdays starting at 6:30pm.

Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball player, Amy Mintz, has signed a scholarship with Truett-McConnell. The Lady Rebel will join the Lady Bears coached by Jenni Shephard. The Lady Bears could use a player of Mintz’s caliber, as the Truett-McConnell finished the 2014 with an 11-36 record overall an a 3-17 AAC conference record.
