• Three Rebels Ride Through Sectionals to State

    The Fannin County High School Rebels wrestling team traveled to Morgan County to take part in the Sectionals Tournament. The top eight wrestlers from each weight class who place at Sectionals move on to the State Tournament. The Rebels had three out four possible place in the top eight and qualify for State.

  • Cody McPeek Signs with Georgetown College

    Fannin County High School All-State offensive lineman, Cody McPeek, signed his letter of intent to play for Georgetown College in Lexington Kentucky. McPeek, son of Rebels offensive coordinator, Gary McPeek, was named All-State and played in the Georgia North South All-Star Game.

  • Fannin Finds Four in Sectionals

    The Fannin County High School wrestling team traveled to Lumpkin for the 7-AAA Area Traditional Tournament. FCHS under the tutelage of new head coach, David Henson, had 13 out of 14 wrestlers place, and four qualify for Sectionals with a chance to compete for a State Championship.

  • Cody McPeek Scholarship Signing

    Fannin County High School All-State offensive lineman, Cody McPeek, will be signing his letter of intent to play football on Wednesday February 4th at 11:30am in the new gym conference room at FCHS. He has narrowed down his choices to Tusculum College in Greenville Tennessee or Georgetown College in Kentucky.

    The Fannin County High School Rebels wrestling team recently traveled south to Pickens High School, to take part in the Burnt Mountain Classic traditional tournament. The Rebels placed 10th overall and Fannin finished with seven place winners.

  • Bailey Jones Signs Softball Scholarship

    Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball standout, Bailey Jones, signed a scholarship to play for Jenni Shephard at Truett McConnell. Jones played in 23 games for the Rebels and finished with a fielding percentage of .851 with 38 put outs.

    Fannin County youth wrestler, Lawson Sullivan, recently competed and placed in four different USA Wrestling tournament. Sullivan placed first at Mountain View and Cherokee County, with second place finishes at Creekview and Duluth.
