1. COPPER BASIN FIREWORKS
Make your way to McCaysville and Copperhill, the twin cities bordering Georgia and Tennessee, for a dazzling display of fireworks. The skies above the cities will come alive with a breathtaking showcase of colors and lights. Find a cozy spot anywhere downtown to enjoy the spectacle, or opt for a unique experience by boarding the Firework Express in Downtown Blue Ridge and arriving by train. Come early, enjoy lunch and watch the parade in downtown McCaysville at 1 p.m.

2. BLUE RIDGE FREEDOM 5K 2024
Kickstart your Independence Day celebration with a scenic 5K run through the beautiful historic downtown of Blue Ridge. Lace up your running shoes and join fellow fitness enthusiasts for a refreshing and invigorating start to the day.

3. OLD TIMERS’ PARADE
Join the Blue Ridge Business Association for a delightful trip down memory lane at the Old Timers’ Parade, a long-standing tradition dating back to the 1950s. Stick around to witness the remarkable fireworks display at Lake Blue Ridge later that evening on the 4th.

4. LAKE BLUE RIDGE FIREWORKS
Experience the magic of fireworks against the backdrop of Lake Blue Ridge and the surrounding mountains. The Lake Blue Ridge Dam area, Morganton Point Recreation Area, and Lake Blue Ridge Marina provide excellent viewing spots. Enjoy delectable food at the marina before the fireworks begin. Consider arriving early as parking fees may apply. Whether you choose to watch from the marina, on a boat on Lake Blue Ridge, or from other designated areas, the beauty of the natural setting combined with the fireworks spectacle will leave you in awe.
