Player of the Week – Morgan Holt

Congratulations to Team FYN’s player of the week for the Lady Rebels basketball team, Morgan Holt! Holt is a junior at Fannin County High School who plays the position of a starting guard.

This is Morgan’s third year of playing basketball for the high school. When Holt is not playing ball for the school, she spends her free time playing for a travel basketball team.

As far as basketball awards go, she has been earning them since her freshman year when she received the title of Rookie of the Year. Holt lettered her sophomore year, received the All-Tournament Player award at this past years ETC Tournament, and earned an MVP award for their Christmas Tournament this season at North Murray.

Morgan is a great player who is an asset to the Lady Rebels. Not only is she a great athlete, but she is also a great sport. She stays positive and always encourages her teammates on the court. Congratulations again to Morgan!
