Joanie Crowder Kyle

February 8, 1959 – January 3, 2019

Joanie Kyle, age 59, of Panama City Beach, FL, formerly of Blue Ridge, GA passed away on January 3, 2019 in Blue Ridge, GA. Born in Fannin County, GA she was the daughter of the late Harold Fred and Lilly Pauline Ware Crowder. Joanie loved to play, write and record music. Her musical talent began with singing with her family for over forty years. She also enjoyed playing the piano, motorcycling, traveling and spending time with her family. She was a long time member of the Higher Ground Praise and Worship Center.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Kyle of 30 years of Panama City Beach, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Noel Bradley Buchanan and wife Keshia of Panama City Beach, FL; daughter, Crystal Guy; brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Christy Crowder of Blue Ridge; sisters, Wanda Gail Adams and Sheila Ann Bradshaw both of Blue Ridge, GA; grandchild, Gayge Guy; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harold Crowder officiating. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as pallbearers: Chris Monkus, David Patterson, Tommy Long, Jonathan Crowder, Tommy Padgett and Gayge Guy. The following gentlemen were selected to serve as honorary pallbearers: Bo Dabber, Tony Owens, Dave Brown, Dennis Burrell, Ken Hoffman, Thomas Cantrell and Robert Ware. Joanie’s wishes were to be cremated following the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray final expenses.
