Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for October. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for October are: Abby Vest, daughter of Ed & Lisa Vest of McCaysville; Dawson Acuff, son of John & Christy Acuff of Blue Ridge; Aaron Kimsey, daughter of Matt & Kelly Kimsey of Blue Ridge; and Luke Pelfrey, son of Larry & Velda Pelfrey of McCaysville.
