Congratulations to the Fannin County High School Marching Band for earning all Superior Ratings at the Northeast Georgia Band Championships. The competition help place at Cass High School last weekend, October 27th. Superior ratings were earned in Drum Major, Colorguard, Percussion, and Band. Fannin Marching Band held the highest overall band score out of 12 bands in Class 1A-4A. The percussion section help the second highest score out of 12 bands in Class 1A-4A. Fannin Marching Band also gained the Brass Section Grand Champion Award and Drum Major Lora Gwatney earning the Grand Champion Drum Major Award. Both the Brass Section and Drum Major Gwatney holding the highest score of the day out of all bands in attendance. Job well done Fannin County HS Marching Band!
