Stites, Judith Ann (Addison, Curtis)
On Wednesday, March 7, 2018, Judy Stites, wife, mother, daughter and sister, passed away at the age of 74 years, 11 months. Judy will be forever remembered by her husband and soul mate Don, her children, Mike Presswood, Tony and Tracy (Dianna) Curtis, her brothers and sisters Joni Sue (Don), Jerry, Sandi Jo, Terry (Rhonda) Judy will also be in the hearts of her step-children, Bart (Lisa) and Tricia (Don), grandchildren Matt (Marsha), Steven (Valerie), Eli, Rachel (Trevor), Jacob, great-grandchildren, Dillon, Cassie, Tylor & Aiden, brother and sister-in-laws, Kenny(Charlene), Bob(Carol), Jim(Mary), Rod(Evelyn) Stites, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Lowell F Addison, Mother, Willa Mae Boggs, Brothers, Benny and David Griffith.
Judy attended Copper Basin High School and during her life had various vocations, including; waitress, beautician, department store sales assistant, payroll clerk, factory worker, accounting clerk, accounts payable, medical currier, and for a short period of time a TSA security officer. She enjoyed swimming, sunbathing, travel, TV, cooking and caring for her family. She was a member of Good Shepard Lutheran, Chattanooga, TN and an avid Tennessee Vol’s fan.
Visitation will be from 2PM to 4PM with a Celebration of Judy’s life Service immediately following, on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 4:00pm from the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home, 1478 Blue Ridge Dr., McCaysville, GA 30555.
In lieu of flowers, it is requested that Memorial donations in memory of Judy may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2?df_id=32112&32112.donation=form1&.
