BLUE RIDGE, Ga. – The Fannin County Young Farmers Association (FCYFA) held their Cute Chick to Hearty Hen: Raising Your Flock workshop on Thursday, March 8, at 6 p.m. at Tractor Supply Co. The program was presented by Ms. Halee Pence. Halee is a retail account representative for animal nutrition with Cargill and her home base is in Knoxville, Tennessee. Tractor Supply hosted the event as well as sponsored the meal. Thirty people were in attendance. FCYFA’s next event will be an Ag Talk and monthly meeting on March 19 at the Faith Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. Jim and Peggy Reich, representatives from Save Georgia’s Hemlocks, will present the Ag Talk. Dinner will be served and sponsored by the Faith Presbyterian Church Men’s Group.
