Fannin County Middle School 8^th grade teams have announced Students of the Month for September. Students are chosen by their academic teachers for this distinction. Qualifications for this honor include outstanding citizenship, good attendance, respectfulness toward faculty and peers, and a good academic standing.

Students chosen for September are: Sydney McGill, daughter of Randall & Kristy McGill of Blue Ridge; Trey Riccitiello, son of Jerry & Tina Townson of Mineral Bluff; Cassidy Culpepper, daughter of Shan & Kathy Culpepper of Blue Ridge; and Sawyer Moreland, son of Tara Moreland of Blue Ridge and John Moreland of Morganton.
