Myrtle Delois Loudermilk, age 77, of Turtletown TN passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Life Care Center of Copper Basin. Mrs. Loudermilk was born on January 4, 1940 in Murphy, NC to the late James Everett Miller and Birdie Ellen Duckett Miller. Mrs. Loudermilk was of the Pentecostal faith. She attended the Word of God Tabernacle on Trantham Lane and Elrod Circle, was their pianist, member of the choir and enjoyed singing. Mrs. Loudermilk was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford “Duck” Loudermilk; brothers, Homer D. Miller, Claude Miller and Amos Miller and sister, Lana Frazier.
Survivors are her daughter, Debra Jean Loudermilk of Ducktown, TN; brother, Carl Miller of Zion, IL; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins of Copperhill Chapel with Pastor Bill Bryant officiating. Music will be by Scott Bryant. Pallbearers will be Jeff Trantham, Dennis Loudermilk, A.E. Loudermilk, Ricky Patterson, Ned Loudermilk and John Grizzell. Interment will follow in the Craig Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, April 11, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
