Survivors include loving wife of 76 years, Mary Evelyn Stewart, two sons, Bob (Kathy) Stewart and Larry Stewart, one brother, Bill Stewart, one sister, Mary Ellen Beard, two grandchildren, Lori (Gary) Nicholson, Ginger Stewart and three great-grandchildren, Lindsey Cole, Nikki (Sgt. Chris) Campbell and Tripe Loudermilk.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with Rev. James Mitchell and Rev. Mathew McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the Crestlawn Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the North Georgia Honor Guard. Pallbearers will be Tripe Loudermilk, Gary Nicholson, Greg Panter, Greg Martin, Paul Mitchell and Larry Newberry. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Deacons of the First Baptist Church of McCaysville and employees of Pruitt Healthcare.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home from 5-8 pm.
