Mr. Dan Allen Wells, age 72 of Ellijay, passed away December 25, 2016 at Blue Ridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. Mr. Wells was born April 11, 1944 in Cairo, GA to the late William Franklin Wells and the late Lillie Mae Whitfield Wells. Mr. Wells was a former city manager and Mayor of Cairo, GA. He was also a retiree from the U.S. Navy. Dan was preceded in death by father, William Franklin Wells, mother, Lillie Mae Wells.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon Wells.
