Mrs. Lillian “Justine” Beard Whitman: Obituary

Mrs. Lillian “Justine” Beard Whitman, age 71 of Blue Ridge, passed away November 16, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Whitman was born August 17, 1945 in Nashville, TN to the late Archibald Beard and the late Mable Dickens Beard. She attended The Ridge Baptist Church in Blue Ridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Powell Whitman, III. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, watching sports (her favorite team being the UT Volunteers) and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Trisha Earls of Morganton, GA, one sister and brother-in-law, Anita Louise and Bill Mullis of Nashville, TN, three grandchildren, Cooper Gregory Earls, Cole Allen Earls and Courtney Elizabeth Earls.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, November 20, 2016 at 2:00 pm at The Ridge Community Church with Reverend Chan Mitchell officiating.
