Fourth grade teachers serving sweet potato pie to students and parents at our Thanksgiving Meal.
West Fannin had two wonderful days of Thanksgiving Meals. We feed 1,197 students and adults on Tuesday, November 8th and Wednesday, November 9th. This event is such a success because of the many volunteers and our wonderful cafeteria staff. Thank you!

Farm-to-Table Sweet Potato Pies
West Fannin fourth grade parents had a special treat during their Thanksgiving Meal on Tuesday, November 8th. Last spring, our Power Planters (aka Garden Club) planted sweet potatoes in our raised beds. Our fourth grade students harvested the sweet potatoes, cleaned the sweet potatoes, peeled the sweet potatoes, and made sweet potatoes pies! West Fannin is truly taking part in the “Farm-to-Table” movement. Thank you to our West Fannin cafeteria for supporting this movement.
