Mrs. Joyce Glenn: Obituary

Mrs. Joyce Glenn, age 82, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on October 19, 2016 in the Wildwood Health and Rehab in Jasper, GA. She was born in Mukden, China on June 1, 1934. She was a very talented seamstress for many years and of the Baptist Faith. Her husband, Henry S. Glenn proceeds her in death.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Kathy H. Couch of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Joey Wiginton of Tallassee, AL; grandchildren, Darvin Couch, Chris Couch, April Queen, Barry Wiginton, Tiana Jacobs, Amber McDonald, Kayla Wiginton and Kacy Wiginton; and great grandchildren, Dakota Queen, Tyler Queen, Kiersten Queen, Kayden Couch, Jonah Couch, Taylor Couch, Emersyn Wiginton, Beckham Wiginton, Reece Jacobs and Jude Jacobs.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Hooper officiating. Music was provided by Wesley and Amy Banks. Interment followed in the Copper Ridge Memory Gardens with the following grandchildren and great grandchildren serving as pallbearers: Darvin Couch, Chris Couch, Dakota Queen, Tyler Queen, Barry Wiginton and Kacy Wiginton. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Zeke Henson, Tommy Henson and Rex Hemphill. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
