Christopher Michael Verner, age 23, of Copperhill, TN passed away Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Memorial Health Savannah, GA. Mr. Verner was born in Chatsworth, GA on April 13, 1993. He attended First Baptist Church of Copperhill-McCaysville and was preceded in death by his mother Glenda Teresa Campbell Verner.
He is survived by his father Eddie Verner and stepmother Melissa Brock of Copperhill; grandfather, Jimmy Verner of McCaysville; grandmother, Betty Sue Locke of Copperhill; sisters, Stephanie Verner of Blue Ridge and Jennifer Levins of Manistique, Michigan; stepbrothers, Carl Sutay, Jr, Anthony Sutay, and Allen Sutay, all of Stone Mountain, GA; niece, Trinity Levins and nephew Jordan Verner.
The family will meet with friends Saturday, September 3, 2016 at the Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge is in charge of arrangements.
