Sharon Ovelle Patterson Mashburn age 60 of Blue Ridge GA passed away on Monday, May 2, 2016 at the Fannin Regional Hospital. Sharon was born on April 24, 1956 to the late Kermit R. and Betty Ovelle Waters Patterson in New Smyrna Beach, FL. She worked in the poultry industry. Sharon was a member of Mount Moriah Church.
Survivors include her husband of forty-two years, Glenn Mashburn; children, David Mashburn (Melissa), Teresa Mashburn, Sheila Mashburn, Jeremy Patterson (Wanda), Jason Mashburn (Katie), Sarah Mashburn (Andrew); brothers, Ricky Patterson, Johnny Patterson and Tim Patterson; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandchild; many aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews and other relatives also survive.
A private family memorial service is planned for a later date. Condolences can be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill is in charge of the arrangements.

I am sorry I just learned of Sharon’s passing. I wish I could have seen her & talked to her more over the years. I’m glad to know she had so many family members who loved her. My prayers to you all.
