Patsy Ruth Harvey, age 76, of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. She was born on November 23, 1939 in Polk County, TN to the late Frank Foyt Fair and Anna Fritz Fair. Mrs. Harvey retired from Levi as a sewing machine operator. She was a member of Mount Gilead Baptist Church. Mrs. Harvey was a foster parent. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, James Miller Harvey.
She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, David and Linda Harvey and Shawn Lynn Harvey both of Mineral Bluff, GA; daughters, Courtney Harvey of Dalton, GA and Mary Beth Harvey of Mineral Bluff, GA; brothers, Tommy Fair of Lancaster, OH and Frank Fair of Epworth, GA; sisters, Frances Newberry of Epworth, GA and Brenda Picklesimer of Mineral Bluff, GA; special friend, Shannon Queen; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday, April 4, 2016, at 12:00 p.m. from the Mount Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Raymond Byers officiating. Eulogy was by Shannon Queen. Music was provided by Carrie Crawford, Shannon Queen, and Michelle Queen. Pallbearers were Jeremy Harvey, Caleb Martin, Kyra Harvey, Jessica Harvey, David Harvey and Shawn Harvey. Honorary pallbearers were David Winston Harvey, Shannon Queen, Jeff Fair, Ronnie Fair, Tony Fair and John Ross. Interment followed in the Van Hook Cemetery.
