Mr. Larry V. Reece: Obituary

Mr. Larry V. Reece, age 68, of Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away on March 31, 2016 in Fulton, Co. GA. Born in Blue Ridge, GA he was the son of the late Lewis and Zola Adams Reece. Mr. Reece was of the Baptist Faith and had been a Christian for twenty five years. Larry had worked in the construction industry work most of his life and enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.

Survivors include his children, Robert Reece of Morganton, GA and Haley Reece of Blue Ridge, GA; granddaughter, Bristol Mann; brother, Norris Reece of Lincolnton, NC; sisters, Pauline Reep of Lincolnton, NC, Carolyn Sue Brown of Morganton, NC, Mary Smith of Gastonia, NC and Kathy Sheppard of Macon, GA; special friend, Glenda Herndon of Blue Ridge, GA.

Funeral Services were conducted on Sunday, April 3, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Hooper and Rev. Jo Dan Wilkins officiating. Music was provided by Marilyn Thomas. Interment followed in the Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the North Georgia Honor Guard.
