Bringing Green to Blue Ridge

Saturday March 12, East and Main Street were awash with green for the Saint Patrick’s Day parade sponsored by the Boro Inn Irish Pub.  The parade began at McKinney Street and East Main then continued down to West Main and ended in front of the Boro Inn Irish Pub.  Benny Long organized jeep owners to decorate their jeeps and join the parade.  At the Boro, corned beef, beer and Gopher Broke welcomed the paraders.

Lisa Jacobi, Jarred Payne, Bobby Don Bloodworth, Jedd Dotson and Roscoe of Gopher Broke played at the Boro.

Hunter Brown, Caroline Scoggins, Caitlyn Adams, Andrew Ladd and Hannah Ladd of Temple Baptist Church collect parking donations for their summer camp.
