Mr. William Wade Lovine, age 88 of Blue Ridge, passed away September 18, 2015, at Pruitt Health Care Nursing Home. He was born September 15, 1927, in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late William Timothy Lovine and the late Vernie Mae Arp Lovine. Mr. Lovine attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and Star Creek Baptist Church. He retired from Tennessee Copper Company after forty-seven years of service. Wade enjoyed working on cars, lawn mower’s, and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Leona Poteet Lovine.
Survivors include: son, Rev. William Wayland Lovine, daughter, Nikki (Bobby) Tipton, son, James Edward (Margaret) McClain, daughter, Bonnie (Clarence) Mann, sister, Kay Davis, grandchildren, James Donald McClain, Adrian Ellis, James Tipton, Robert Tipton, Amanda Walden, Cherrelyn Robinson, Vic Mann, Michelle Mann, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
Funeral services: Monday, September 21, 2015, at 2:00 pm at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayland Lovine and Rev. Stranley Ritter officiating. Music provided by Devy Young. Interment will follow in Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens.. Pallbearers: Chuck Loving, Robert Tipton, James Tipton, Chris Walden, Aaron Ellis, Ricky Thomas Wayne, Thomas and Vic Mann.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge, Monday, September 21, 2015, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
