The Unbearable Cost of Illegal Immigration

Trump, God bless him, has opened the festering wound of failed Progressive policies afflicting America. GOP take note. Because Trump has shown you the way It is now okay to talk about illegal immigration and its odious fallout, the sanctuary city program, in actual terms of their dysfunction without feeling the wrath of the left’s screaming approbations of racism.

Good questions are now being asked that deserve honest answers. The first hinderance to that discussion of course, is the new Democrat party, Marxist in its policies and totally incompetent in their application. One argument from the Left is the illegals still pay taxes and to lose that source of revenue, cities and states would not have the ability to fund their necessary social programs.

So, the left introduces tax revenue as their primary argument to keep the borders open and maintain sanctuary cities. Let’s meet that argument. In the US, between $14 and $25 Billion are spent on welfare for illegals. Nearly $8 billion goes to Medicaid for illegals. $12 billion is spent on pre-high school education. $27 billion is spent on education for children born here to illegal immigrants in the US.  $3 million per day is spent on incarcerating illegals. The Federal prison population of illegals approaches 28% and that does not include the thousands of felons DHS just released back into our population under Obama’s emancipation program. Government spends $190 billion taxpayer dollars a year on welfare and other social services for illegals.

Add to those dismal figures the estimated $200 billion dollars of wages lost to real Americans by illegal employment who send their money home to their own families in Mexico. This amount is estimated to be around $65 billion.

Except for mentioning the estimated cost of incarcerating illegals in our prisons, the high cost of maintaining police forces to hold down illegal caused crime and prosecute them, is staggering. Illegals crime rate is two and a half times greater than white legal immigrant citizens. Illegal immigrant children, has a high school drop out rate near 67%, because they don’t/won’t learn English as a primary or secondary language.

What is the cost of the murder of one member of an American family by an illegal deported five times? As we saw in San Francisco death most often comes unexpectedly, suddenly and violently in hails of gunfire or grinding car crashes. Military members going into combat expect it going in. A woman with her children in their car doesn’t expect death from an illegal driver incapacitated by alcohol or marijuana.

If these people can be repatriated and made unable to return, think how much our highways would be freed up. The control of Imported diseases like TB, Hepatitis, Influenzas, polio & etc., would be seriously reduced. We do that for our imported food sources, why not illegals?

I could go on, but what about solutions? How’s this for an idea? If, as a Norte Americano Gringo, and chose to reside in beautiful Mexico, by their laws you would not be permitted to maintain a US Bank account. Let’s make that same requirement for all immigrants here too. No more Western Union money transfers. All banking right here first. That should self-deport a lot. Illegals who own property here, would be given 90 days to sell their property, to salvage their investments, or the government will seize and sell it. Local governments are already doing that to US citizens under forfeiture laws. Most of that is simple larceny but, so what! It’s being done anyway. What is America’s cost for illegal immigration? how about over $500 billion a year!. Remember, freedom is the goal, the constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (24 July 2015)
