Imogene Juanita O’Neal, age 78, of Copperhill, TN passed away Friday, July 17, 2015 at her home. Imogene was a daughter of the late Walter and Venie Smith Hicks. She was a member of the Mt. Liberty Baptist Church. She retired from the Blue Ridge Health Care where she had workedin the Dietary Department. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Earl Clint O’Neal.
She is survived by son, Danny O’Neal of Copperhill, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Earlene and Steve Jones of Reliance, TN; brother, Walter Junior Hicks of Reliance, TN; sister, Ida Sue Caudill of Winchester, KY; three grandchildren, Stephanie Jones, Lacy Brown and Danyelle O’Neal; one great grandchild, Cohutta Brown.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, July 20th at 2:00 p.m. from the Mt. Zion (Tumbling Creek) cemetery with Rev. Clifton Patterson officiating. Music was by Rev. David O’Neal. Pallbearers were, Charles O’Neal, Rev. David O’Neal, Jason Payne, David Deal, David Dobbs and James Dobbs. Condolences to the family may be sent to www.akinsfuneralhome.com.
