Daily Prayer: 07/14

Proverbs 10:9 “Whoever walks in integrity walks securely, but he who makes his ways crooked will be found out.”

Dear Lord of our lives, we are thankful for your watch care over us. You have given your people a gracious blessing of your divine presence with us. When we live and work in a faith relationship with you our way is secure for we have nothing to hide from anyone.

We are amazed at the continuous exposure of prominent people who seem to have all that life could offer but find that it is not enough for their appetites. They have money, but scheme to get more. They have beautiful families but betray them with illicit affairs. And then their lives come tumbling down when they are found out.

None of us are perfect and do not claim to be before you. Our desire is to live before you and others in such a manner that we will not fear having all of our closets emptied out.

Bless the person who meditates on this scripture with a conscience free day. Jesus can make it so!

Amen.
