Mrs. Ethel Lucille Sosebee, age 91 of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Pruitt Health Nursing Home. Mrs. Sosebee was born September 17, 1923 in Cumming, GA to the late Jake Free and the late Dovey Twiggs Free. A member of the Pleasant Hill Full Gospel Church, she was preceded in death by husband, Guy Ernest Sosebee, three daughters, Mary Jo Brown, Annie Ruth Farr, and June Hyatt. She enjoyed crocheting and taking walks. Everyone that met her instantly fell in love with her. She was kind and liked to give things to people and never asking for anything in return. Most of all she loved her grandchildren.
Survivors include: son, James Edward Sosebee, son, Herman Junior Sosebee, daughter, Martha Jane Tanner, son, John Mathew Sosebee, brother, Robert Free, 22 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 13, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Pleasant Hill Full Gospel, Dawsonville, GA with the Rev. Reid Nicholson and Rev. Leroy Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. Pallbearers include Jeffery Farr, John Lowe, Jason Brown, Ernie Brown, Matthew Harper, and Jacob Mulkey.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, Saturday, July 11, 2015, from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
