Daily Prayer: 07/05

Proverbs 3:9-10. “Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the first fruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine.”

Father in heaven, we acknowledge that all that we are and have is because of your mercy and grace. We are living now in hard times and are tempted to take our tithes and offerings and use them for our own purposes. But we have proved you time and again that when we are faithful to honor you with that portion of our income that you ask be returned to you, our needs are always provided. There is no room for bargaining here, but you bless a lifestyle of trusting in your providence.

We offer our praise for the way you have blessed our nation, our churches, and our families with plenty. As we live through these times of financial reversals, may we never forget that you have been faithful to us. May we be found faithful to you and your kingdom’s work. In Jesus name,
