Mr. Henry E. Silcox: Obituary

Mr. Henry E. Silcox, age 84 of Maryville, TN passed away June 21, 2015 at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville. Mr. Silcox was born March 24, 1931 in LaFollette, TN to the late Jacob Melford and Ina Pearl Silcox. Henry was a resident of Ducktown for 25 years before moving to Maryville. He was Baptist in faith and he worked as an electrician for many years. Henry was a hard working man, he enjoyed farming and raising cattle. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Estle Silcox.

Survivors include loving wife, Bertha Silcox, four sisters and two brothers, Boyce Silcox, Ricky Silcox, Imogene Bitatoe, Stella Silcox, Brenda Cox, and Lois Ayers, also several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Crofts Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Freddy Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in the Crofts Chapel Cemetery

The family will receive friends at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home on Wednesday before the service starting at 1:00 pm.
