Mr. Gary Walls: Obituary

Cochran Funeral Home of Hiawassee announces funeral services for Mr. Gary Walls, age 61, native and lifelong resident of Hiawassee, Georgia, who passed away on Sunday, May 31, 2015 in Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville.Gary was born on March 13, 1954, the son of the late Ferman Walls and Reba Chastain Walls. Gary was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of God in Hiawassee. Gary had worked for Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee for many years as office manager.

Gary leaves behind his loving family members: wife, Janie Cothren Walls, of Hiawassee; his mother, Reba Chastain Walls, of Hiawassee; son, Derek Walls, of Atlanta, Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Jason McClure of Hiawassee; brothers, Larry Walls and Curtis Walls, both of Hiawassee; grandchildren, Jacely McClure, Hayden McClure, and Logan McClure.

Funeral services have been scheduled for Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., to be held in the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee, with Pastor Glen Eller officiating. Burial will be in Burch Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee on Wednesday evening, between the hours of 6 until 8 p.m.
